CFWA is your watershed organization. We are a volunteer organization, and cannot succeed without your help! Please consider giving a few hours a month to helping us with one of the activities listed below. And if you think CFWA should sponsor another activity, please let us know about that too.

Rainbarrel Clinic - 2

• Organizers and those willing to help hold the clinic needed.

 

Project W.E.T.

• Secondary science, environmental, biology, agriculture science teachers or related club sponsors are needed .to incorporate water testing in classroom or club studies.
• Equipment and training provided.

Spring Stream Clean-up Projects

• Do you know of a stream site in our watershed which needs a clean-up?
• Would you like to help organize a clean-up?  (it’s really very easy to plan this activity and maximize volunteers and sponsors with our unique “duty chart”).
• Team Leader from each county of the watershed to be on the look out for potential stream sites in need of cleanup .

Programs

• Programs Team Leader needed to organize quarterly community meetings.
• Duties: Contact program speakers, publicize event, arrange venue.
• Note: speakers are generally happy to present programs, and will supply short articles suitable for publication in local newspapers.
• CFWA can furnish contact information for local news media, equipment for presentations, and assist with contacts for program venues.
